Helen Fowles | Miss Helen
Focal Pointe Principal
As school principal I believe it is important to teach every student. I pride myself on creating a friendly environment, where every child is noticed, each encouraged to fulfil their individual potential and simply enjoy dance. I began dancing at three-years-old and dance has been my passion ever since.
Rhiannon Clarke | Miss Rhiannon
I have a passion for teaching and nurturing students of all ages and abilities and aim to create an environment where every child can reach their full potential. I love to be creative in my approach to teaching and am always looking for a way to further my own knowledge to benefit my students.
Jess studied at Focal Pointe participating in a wide variety of classes before furthering her training at Ignite Dance Centre in Kidderminster. She is currently studying for a degree in Dance at Creative Academy in Slough. Jess keeps in touch with her roots at Focal Pointe and regularly comes back to teach exciting and engaging workshops to all ages.
Some of our senior dancers volunteer in classes as part of completing their Duke of Edinburgh qualification. These students assist Miss Helen and Miss Rhiannon with lessons, working closely with children that need additional support and helping with the general management of the class. Many of these students continue helping with classes beyond their required hours and form a lovely bond with the children. You will also see them on stage helping with the younger students!
