At Focal Pointe, there's something for everyone! We offer classes for children from age 2+ up to adult dancers of all abilities and experiences. We welcome all students whether simply joining for fun or aiming to achieve goals to advance vocationally and professionally.

We believe in the importance of having highly qualified teachers delivering the best classes to our students. All teachers at Focal Pointe are fully insured, hold an up to date enhanced DBS, have been through safeguarding training and have studied for many years in order to achieve their teaching qualifications. These qualifications include modules related to safe dance practice, child development and much more. Teachers are also required to complete CPD each year to maintain our teacher status.
Some of the professional qualifications our teachers hold are listed below: Registered Teacher Status with the Royal Academy of Dance Diploma in Dance Education in Imperial Classical Ballet, Tap Dance and Modern Theatre with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) Pirouette Surgery & Leap Surgery by Rosina Andrews |

Exams
Focal Pointe enjoys a longstanding success of 100% pass rate in exams. Children are entered for Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Ballet exams up to twice a year once they have reached the required level

Private LessonsStudents may wish to have private lessons for a number of reasons. A few examples include for exam coaching, to catch up on missed learning, for support with GCSE dance/PE practical content, audition preparation or to make progress on a specific technical aspect.
