At Focal Pointe, we follow the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus for ballet and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) for tap and modern. Both of these syllabi allow children to develop their technique, musicality and performance and receive recognition for their progress. Successful completion of grade 6 or above also gives the student UCAS points. Exams are held regularly and all students have the opportunity to take exams or class awards if they wish.
